This course introduces a process, tools, techniques and the skills required to collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders in an intervention.&nbsp; It considers situations where collaboration is either essential or beneficial (i.e., in contrast to cooperation and co-creation as alternative ways of working in teams), how to avoid and overcome common challenges to effective collaboration, and a set of key success factors. This is drawn together as a simplified four-step process, to assist in collaborating successfully with others within an intervention.In this course, you will:<ul><li>Learn how to approach a situation to determine its relative complexity and where a collaborative intervention approach is required.</li><li>Define the behaviours necessary to support collaboration.</li><li>Learn how to plan and set up a successful collaboration in an intervention.</li><li>Learn an approach and some techniques for managing a successful collaborative intervention, including: creating the right environment; setting clear direction; and communicating clearly.</li><li>Reflect on how collaboration fits with learning from other modules and how this should best be applied to their real-world interventions in their workplace.</li></ul>Trainer The training is facilitated by&nbsp;Simon MacCormac, a systems thinking practitioner with more than 30 years’ experience.Simon is a management consultant by profession and has worked on collaborative change and transformation programmes across government and private sectors in the UK, North America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
